THE KEY POINTS
Being very satisfied with the "Kraken", Commando Hubert entrusted us with a second project: designing a combat and maritime security knife.
The knife must be light, minimalist with a serrated part to cut ropes, a sharp part for various cuts and a point to cut into a waterproof suit in case of emergency.
It should also be used for combat, the core activity of Combat Swimmers, with a sharp point with high penetrating power, a very good grip that can be used with or without gloves, and a handle with a ring for a "karambit" type grip, in addition to easy extraction.
In order to guarantee high resistance to abrasion and keep the quality of the cut in any circumstance, the steel chosen is N680 from Böhler with bluing over the whole length of the knife.
Tests conducted on different continents, in training and then in operations, on land, on water, and underwater, have given rise to the "LEVIATHAN", a mythical creature creating chaos in the seas.
The Leviathan is designed for all maritime operations, raids, sea assaults, and land-based actions, and for all those who fight and work in a marine environment. The Leviathan is naturally suitable for desert environments.
A Kydex sheath for horizontal and calf wearing is delivered with the knife.
