THE KEY POINTS
Fred Perrin, knife maker and International instructor in the art of knife fighting and Wildsteer go back a long way. It was during a meeting organized by Coutellerie Tourangelle, a major mover and shaker of the French cutlery industry, that the project took shape.
The "Mosquito" is inspired by a knife from the Wildsteer range, the W Fighter Hélico, appreciated for its compactness as well as its defensive and offensive aspects.
A "skeleton" model was co-designed to make it an operational throwing knife.
The blade is not sharpened but can be if necessary.
The handle can be covered with paracord (you are advised to remove the 7 nylon strands so as not to lose the throwing performance).
The Mosquito is sold in a set of 3 knives to keep consistent throwing fluidity.
THE WILDSTEER BONUSES
The blade of this throwing knife can be sharpened to turn it into a real knife.
As option: A nylon case allows to store the 3 knives and to carry them vertically to the belt.
